Do you want to speak with someone who truly listens, engages with you, and can help you with ongoing struggles or conflicts? Friends and family can listen and give advice, but they may be biased.  Therapy is different.

I counsel, educate and provide supportive therapy for women who
  • have anxiety, worry or sadness that impacts their quality of living
  • put others’ needs before their own (and later resent them for it)
  • find that their past experience is damaging their current relationships
  • keep dating (or marrying) ‘the wrong person’
  • want tools to help improve their relationships (either alone or with their partner)
  • have pain related to trauma, difficulty parenting, or managing their moods and reactions to others
 
I can also help you 
  • express your thoughts and feelings…even the ones you don’t like
  • set and keep boundaries…learn to say ‘no’, even when others don’t like it
  • minimize your reactions to what others say and do
  • let go of a painful past
  • establish priorities and find time for yourself
  • let go of the need to have things just right and be perfect

If you are depressed, panicky, or anxious, individual therapy can help, often without the need for medication.

My fee is $125 per 50-minute session, payable by cash, check or credit card.  I am currently offering a reduced fee to individuals or couples who are motivated to get help and make changes, but have financial concerns. If finances are an issue for you, please let me know, and we’ll try to find a mutually-agreeable rate.
